Hundreds of young people from all over NSW come together at Summer Camp, all from different walks of life, all in need of Jesus. At Camp we seek to build a temporary community, centred around the Gospel in order to introduce young people to Jesus, challenge them with His claim on their lives and grow them in Him, equipping them to put their faith into action.
With smart phones and social media we have more ways to communicate these days than ever. But how do we communicate with the God of the universe? Thanks to Jesus we can call him Father and talk to him anytime. But how? That really hasn’t changed. The book of Psalms was the prayer book of ancient Israel. And through the Psalms God teaches us to pray. We will look at the first six and the last Psalm as lessons in prayer.
Sandy McMillan has recently settled into ministry at Drummoyne Presbyterian Church after nearly 25 years pastoring a church in Wagga Wagga. He is married to Karen and they have three adult daughters (who collectively have benefitted from over 50 PY camps!), two sons-in-law and two grandchildren. To keep fit, Sandy walks, cycles, swims and does cryptic crosswords. His favourite word in the English language is ‘grace’, because grace changes everything.

PYNSW values the time and commitment that parents show by serving on Camps. For this reason PYNSW runs a Kids Program, for the children of leaders. Children from birth to Year 6 are catered for during Summer Camp 2017. You must register your children for the Kids Program by filling in the Kids Program Rego Form & return it to the PYNSW Office by 13/11/17.DOWNLOAD FORM FAQ
Any registration received after 4/12/17 will incur a late fee of $60. No registrations will be received after 11/12/17. PYNSW subsidises Summer Camp to make it more affordable. The actual cost of camp (not including admin & staff) is $580. If you are able and would like to contribute to cover subsidies and other costs it would be greatly appreciated. Further subsidies are also available on request.
