Support PY
What you can do to support PY
You can support the ministry of PYNSW in many ways, including through prayer, giving and volunteering.
Pray for PY
November 2025
Here's how you can be praying for us:
- Pray for Presbyterian churches around NSW as they seek to disciple children and youth well. Pray that around NSW our churches would be encouraged at the opportunities to share the gospel they see around them.
- Give thanks for our SRE teachers, and pray that they would end the school year well.
- Pray for everyone involved in school-term-based ministry, that they would persevere, especially for youth groups that are opening up to new age groups, that they would integrate the new people well.
- Pray for youth group leaders and kids ministry leaders as they wrap up the school holiday break and return for Term 4. Pray that they will be energised and enthused for the term ahead.
- Pray for SRE coordinators and SRE teachers as they prepare faithfully for the final school term of the year and begin discussions about classes next year.
- Pray that more interns would sign up for this year’s internship: pray for John Murray and Steve Mannyx as they finalise their preparation to lead.
- Pray for more people to come to PY Summer Camp, and especially that drivers could be found for all the buses.
- Pray that the work done on the Introduction to Pastoral Care Unit would bear good fruit once it’s ready to be taught in the Timothy Partnership Certificate.
- Pray for the Quizworx performers who will be very busy presenting Christmas assemblies around the state.

Mark Neasey Memorial
Mark Neasey (1959-2024) was an elder at Blacktown East Presbyterian Church, and provided some practical support to PYC in their finance and governance around 2009. Growing up, Mark enjoyed attending PFA camps.
As a youth, Mark enjoyed the opportunity that PFA/PY camps provided for him to receive good teaching from the Bible and come to accept Jesus as His Lord and Saviour. Spending time with other young Christians, learning in Bible Study groups as well as more sustained conversations over shared meals and late night chats with older Christians had a profound influence on his life and faith.
He also enjoyed the fun and activities that took place on camp.
