What you can do to support PY

You can support the ministry of PYNSW in many ways, including through prayer, giving and volunteering.

Pray for PY

February 2026

Here's how you can be praying for us:

  • Pray for our Lead for Life interns as they start formally serving in their local churches as part of their internship.
  • Pray for PYC as they meet up on Monday 16 Feb, and meet to talk about future strategy for PY in March.
  • Pray for SRE teachers as they start up for the school year.

  • Pray for our Timothy Partnership Certificate students as they start up for the year.

  • Pray that we would be able to finish our new website, that it would help people have easier access to PY resources and events.

  • Give thanks for good attendance at the Big Day Out in the Northern Rivers, and an opportunity for leaders and young people alike to have fellowship together and hear from the Bible.

  • Give thanks for youth group leaders and children’s ministry workers around the state as they step up for another year of ministry.

We have recently created a book on the history of camping in the Presbyterian Church in NSW. You can order a copy of the book.

Mark Neasey Memorial

Mark Neasey (1959-2024) was an elder at Blacktown East Presbyterian Church, and provided some practical support to PYC in their finance and governance around 2009. Growing up, Mark enjoyed attending PFA camps.

As a youth, Mark enjoyed the opportunity that PFA/PY camps provided for him to receive good teaching from the Bible and come to accept Jesus as His Lord and Saviour.  Spending time with other young Christians, learning in Bible Study groups as well as more sustained conversations over shared meals and late night chats with older Christians had a profound influence on his life and faith.

He also enjoyed the fun and activities that took place on camp.

In Mark’s memory, a fund has been set up to help support bringing people along to camp; this is used by PY to help people who have financial difficulties be able to travel sometimes across much of NSW, to come to camp.
